The mission of the Key West Harry S. Truman Foundation is to preserve the Truman Little White House as Florida’s only presidential museum and host programming that supports civic engagement, education and the historic and cultural influences of the Truman era. However, during this time of pandemic, we want to be candid about the potential risks associated with attending such events. The following information is being provided in order to help those attending understand the essence of our events and how they may impact your risk of getting and/or spreading COVID-19. This is by no means replacing any information provided by the CDC or any county or state ordinances. Should you have any additional uncertainties, please refer to the guidance issued by these agencies. Your decision to attend is at your own discretion.
For our upcoming 2022 programming, all Key West Harry S. Truman Foundation events will be held outdoors on the lawns of the Truman Little White House when Monroe County is in a high-transmission state. Though masks are not required in outdoor settings per the CDC guidelines, we highly recommend wearing a mask in crowded outdoor settings when social distancing is not possible. The seating arrangements will vary based on the overall nature and purpose of such events and we will do our best to provide socially distant, open-aired seating at all times. If you are experiencing any flu-related symptoms at the time of these events, we strongly urge you to remain home; we will provide a full refund when notified in advance of the event.
To the best of our knowledge, this information is accurate through January 5, 2022. We reserve the right to update such terms at any time.
