Truman Music Series: The Heart Starters April 12th

The Heart Starters: True to Truman: Step back in time with the music of Truman Era hits by Benny Goodman, Glen Miller, Artie Shaw, Billie Holiday, Bing Crosby, and more. This swingin’ dynamic five- piece band revitalizes the American Songbook with Jukebox Standard favorites, Big Band dance hits, and Academy Award winning songs from the WWII era.  The vibrant melodies of the clarinet, trombone, saxophone, piano, upright bass, and drums will transport you on a unique Key West journey back into America’s Swing Era.  Join us on April 12th at the Truman Little White House for a remembrance of the night when “the moon, the stars, and all the planets” fell upon Harry S. Truman; the night he became the 33rd President of the United States.
