It’s only April and we have had our shares of VIP’s visiting. This last weekend we hosted Congressman Kendrick Meek (D-FL). He was in Key West attending several events, but started his day with us attending a healthcare roundtable. The congressman brought his wife Leslie and their two children Lauren and Kendrick, Jr. While the Congressman Meek worked, I had the privilege of taking his family on a tour of the house. The kids even bought a gift for President Obama, a t-shirt that said Key West: Home of Presidential Vacations.
